Lemme get this straight...

So because of a questionable experience with a single neglected 20 year old car, one middle-of-nowhere-one-man mechanic shop and one small forum full of teenage arsehat ricers...you are discounting everything else that company produced and its related community?

Man, that's some open minded thinking right there!

Totally agree.

That also doesn't take in to account what the problems actually were with the car: i.e. Quality of Parts to go along with the Quality of Work.

People put on cheap parts and expect things to last or taking it to people that do pretty garbage work (i.e. the bare minimum to get the thing back out of the shop) and then wonder why their cars don't last.

There are people that completely neglect their cars then blame others for the car breaking down when they didn't do the work required to keep it running (either the Routine Preventative Maintenance or the actual maintenance to get the car back up to 100%).

Yea, you take the environment into account when those batteries have to be recycled/destroyed. There goes that idea.

Love the black one but with the white ones wheels. ( not the red ones)
At the end of the day as long as you enjoy the ride and you leave happy, who cares what others think. Individualism.

You recycle batteries.....
We have a recycling program at work.

The problem is not enviornmental.....but rather monitary as those batteries cost a lot to replace.

Tell that to half of the subie world bro.....

Half of iclub is on coilovers.....some are even bagged.

Personally I would love bags. Lay frame for some pictures or a photoshoot or adjust height for your needs and road conditions without even putting your car on jacks!

Its call swerve them potholes!

Yea, so the amount of digging up and mining to create the batteries and the energy it takes to recycle the batteries offset the "benefit" to the atmosphere.

Generally speaking, people running catless know they aren't being green and don't have status complexes (and generally know how to drive).

On the other hand, most Prius drivers don't know anything about their cars outside the sales brochure (my co-worker thought hybrid batteries last forever), don't know how to drive and were brain washed to believe they are reversing humanity's cabron footprint by being super eco friendly (while doing jack sh*t anything else green outside their Prius)

To make prius' battery, is very unfriendly.
