good body shop for repairing subframe?

Hi,

Do you know any good body shop that can inspect/repair
shifted sub-frame? I will be paying out of my own pocket
so I would like to find out an unexpensive one that can do
good estimation and decent work.

I found the problem after I ran my car over the curb. The dealer said alignment cannot be done since the subframe is shifted.

Thanks a lot.

I'm not sure of any shops, but you might have to replace the subframe altogether. That might also not be the only problem. Did you have someone check out what else was wrong? Are the LCAs (lower control arms) bent? You could be looking at more repairs than you know. Good luck.

SnoHumper,
I am not sure how bad is it bent. The folks in service dept told me the subframe is shifted.

dubc15,
Thanks for the input. I will give them a call. The other place I found is custom alignment in Mountain View. Any experience there?
