5s 58e 15n is the fastest way i have gotten there i have tried your other combos with no success to shorter times.. i have gotten to vegas in about 7 hours taking 5,58,15

From the sounds of it, once you get east of Barstow on the 15, you're looking at some major (45 min) delays.

Thankfully, I'm staying in Laughlin, so I'm taking the 40, and a little known side road which drops me onto the 95. That road is a really nice road at speed, although I might suggest driving lights.
