Kuhmo MX are a summer tire that does really well in the rain. I got a set of 225/40/18 for $90ish each on tire-rack.com. I've done 4 good track days on them and they still have plenty of tread left, once they are warmed up they grip really well. They've got to be the best value summer tire out there.

if you can get em to fit... heard these get great mileage but not so much grip... great for drifting though!!! (into a tree or wall mostly likely)

Pricematch that to tirerack for $85/tire. Certs are pointless for AWD cars because if they're past a certain point you have to either get them shaved or buy a new set. You might get one for free, but @ $85/tire that's only saving you $15.

As for the topic of the thread, what's your budget? I'd get a price from Vulcan Tire ($99/tire for stock WRX size) for Pirelli PZero Neros and go with those. If you're on a really tight budget I'd get some BFG g-Force Sports. They're around the same price as the Kumhos, and IMHO they're better tires.

are you looking for summer tires or all seasons?

Also, what size?

The falken 512s are probably the most budget all season out there that still perform decently (75/tire)

I would recommend these as well since they have a 30,000 mile warranty which is a huge bonus for anyone with AWD since if one of them pops, you get the rest of the tires prorated (% of tire left X cost of tire = money back towards your next tire purchase).

Though, I wouldn't call them the most budget all season...

for z-rated/ultra high performance all seasons, they are pretty much the cheapest out there (70-75 a tire)

Unless you get some no name brand tires
