Sharks seemed a lil slow last nite. maybe due to the altitude? oh well, every team needs a kick in the pants to get them awake. now they'll DOMINATE in game 5. i predict a win by 5 goals!
We could be like Colorado and blame it on the ref's -- 4 minute minor for a high stick at the end of the 3rd!!! I didn't see any blood -- and then we were getting tripped like crazy and no calls!!!!
But instead I will be happy I now get to go to the game on Sat

I was disappointed in that 4 minute high stick call. If you look at the replay, Selanne pulled him which twisted his body and made him hit Selanne with the stick.... Utter crap. Oh well, I'm going to game 5 so I'm happy!

Stupid question, but when somebody scores a hat trick, and everybody throws their hats onto the ice, what happens to the hats afterwards?
Do they go to charity or something? Or given out for free after the game if anybody wants one?

Marleau found his truck filled w/ the hats from his hattrick, he donated them to charity, don't know what's normally done with them though.
Edit: BTW wtf is up with all the officiating, it's been shxt lately. Colorado's refs are calling insane crap, and the San Jose refs aren't calling anything (hence the chaos in game 1).

Yeah, I saw a picture of Marleau's truck filled with hats from one of his recent hat tricks. Also, I heard that the hats are donated to charity afterwards. What charity takes a bunch of hats? Hair club for men rejectees?
Yeah apparently the altitude was really messing with the players and fatigue was an issue in both of the games in Colorado. They realy looked more worn down the longer game 4 went on. I hate to cry wolf, and say that it was the refs fault, but from what I saw the Sharks were getting bad calls against them. Fortunately they killed all of the penalties off... but that could be one of the reasons they were worn down so much that game.
Colorado was getting away with murder... Do you remember when Forsberg had his arms locked around TWO of the sharks deffensivemen for 15-20 seconds? I think that was at the end of game 2 or 3... no call. Oh, Avs are almost eliminated and Sharks can beat detroit or calgary.... bring on Tampa Bay! To be honest, the lightning look like they are on fire. Will be fun to watch!
