Pedro shouldn't have taunted and rattled up both teams. That's what I think. He sparked a bomb and both benches clear, etc.

Yeah I know they aren't 2nd. I meant 2nd as in exaggeration. Yeah, they're up there though.

I will agree that baseball should have salary caps. Almost any other team sport does. Pedro = evil. Yanks = not so much evil.

Wow, Baseball seriously needs a salary cap....Boston is in 4th place at 104 million and the yanks are 180 million Then you have the Minnasotas that make the playoffs almost every year and they are 120 million below the Chokees!

Put a cap in place and then lets see how good the yanks really are....

No, I know the Yankees did some stuff they shouldn't do too. Like I said, both parties are at fault and wrong. They made this rivalry too far and too extreme when you got brawls happening.

See, I feel like you're trying to pin me to a corner and prove me wrong. Look, it's not gonna happen! LOL Bottom line is, this whole Red Sox vs. Yankees blew up to catastrophe. It's sad really... and both teams are guilty.

i've been a sox fan all my life (i'm from boston) and i agree that there needs to be a salary cap. you mention lets see how good the yankees are then (after a cap), but the same really goes for the red sox. their farm system is horrible...they have no pitching coming up in their system. they only have a couple prospects in kevin youkilis and maybe andy dominique, but no pitching. look at other teams like the A's that get most of their talent from their own system and not buying it all up.

I'll agree that the Yanks tend to buy all stars to the team. The Yanks are a superstars lineup. Their heart of the lineup is like well over half of the lineup.

Where's my NFL and where's my NHL (effing lockout!) LOL I'm going to switch to other sports for TV watching once the world series is over.

No doubt this rivalry is exciting to see... that's like durr LOL So much drama.. for both good and bad reasons.
