Whatever... Giants baby!
BTW, your Red Sox still got a series to play before acheiving the championship... don't get too excited Chris and all you other Red Sox fans!
We shall see what happens next...

"A-Rod's eyes darting around the stadium, trying to figure out a way to cheat to get on base "

Yeah, I just think it's so great that the team with the highest payroll in major sports just completed the worst collapse in the history of Baseball. FANTASTIC

We shall see what happens next...Giant's are the sickest...but how can you like the Giants and want the Yanks to beat the Sox?!?!?! The Yankees are b****es, I'm glad the Sox finally beat them. I have a feeling the NL's gonna win the WS though.

My favorite baseball team:
San Francisco Giants
Yankees are ranked distant from the Giants
Why do I like the Yankees?
Cause they're just that damn good! The dynasty is such a powerhouse, I want them to give it all they got. That's explosive and exciting baseball IMHO.
Everyone either likes a sports dynasty or hates it. You either love it or hate it... just your preference.
Oh yeah, why not the Red Sox?
I will now quote from my previous post on this thread.
"Also, I will always hate Pedro Martinez for throwing Don Zimmer and pegging batters! Unsportsmanlike, get the **** out of the league!
Damon and Schilling are kewl ppl. I have no problems with them."
Mainly Pedro Martinez and Varitek for their unsportsmanlike fights. I cannot side with such idiots despite the rest of the team somewhat ok with me.

Oh yeah... A-Rod trying to cheat on getting to 1st base by slapping Arroyo's glove. That wasn't kewl... very unsportsmanlike. You're out means you're out. Stop playing devil's advocate after the right call by the umpires! Does that make me like the Yankees less? Yes it does... but still I choose Yankees over Red Sox.

Word, I can't believe anyone would be on Zimmer's side on that!! Zimmer's admited that he was acting dumb, and Pedro didn't throw him, he just diverted his momentum so he fell and rolled like the fat hog he is.

And pegging batters is a part of the game...Just ask Clemens, or Nolan Ryan. It's just too bad that the pitchers don't bat in the American League because then they would all think twice about throwing at batters in retaliation or whatever.
Look, I don't like pitchers who peg batters especially right at their heads. You can blind the man forever, screw up their nervous system, or a serious concussion. It's not clean and it's very wrong and immoral. If you're going to walk a guy, just throw 4 *****. No need to "purposely injure" a player. If he's that good of a batter, step up and pitch him out then!

Still, Pedro Martinez is the player I will never like. I hate him with a fury for pegging batters! He even threatened to keep that up remember last year? Signaling finger to head and everything...

well said...like when clemens threw at piazza that was uncool. pegging batters is all part of the game. they do it in both leagues just less in the NL. Look at what Tavarez did in game 5 when he lost it, it was obvious he was throwing at batters and that's why the warnings went out.
you know what i found very uncool...Wiggly (Gary Sheffield) putting down the entire Red Sox team after Game 5. That's unsportsmanlike if you ask me. Professionals usually show some respect for their opponents and their abilities but Sheffield just flat out insulted the entire Red Sox organization.
