I can't say who is going to be competing as I have now idea, I would love to see the LIC guys come and hand JC his *** in modified but they have busy family lives (fair play to them!) so this might not happen (if it does I'd be glad to lend our full modest resources to them!!)

The engine went. Some kind of mechanical failure in relation to a component. Not the engine. Caused the engine to vent the block and that's where the fire came from.
Mike isn't the type to get wrapped up in it. He'll figure out what went wrong, fix it, make it better and make the car quicker. Now it's time to truly unleash the beast. I can't wait for next year. GST is gonna be faster than ever.

As for next year it's actually pretty scary what we have going on I'll just leave it at that!

Basically something in the fuel delivery system took a dump, initially I thought it was the FPR but now I am not so sure as I took it all apart and went through it and can't find anything wrong with it. Either way the car was down 13psi of fuel pressure at 21psi of boost and the old motor just had enough!
As for next year it's actually pretty scary what we have going on I'll just leave it at that!
