Fender air dam piece stolen! WTF?

Fender air dam piece stolen! WTF?
Has anyone else experienced or heard of these air dam pieces being stolen? 
Ours was stolen from our 2011 WRX and had to be purchased and painted to spec, bummer!

or rear bumper spats. i always try and hide at least one nut and bolt (nut with rubber on threads and allen head bolt) just to make the proposed thief's job that much harder. lol

Sucks but not surprised. First it was stealing the fender mounted sidemarkers on GC8's, then the foglight covers on GDA's, now this.
