Getting rear ended, Bad for the car's performance?
Just a question that came up in my head. What if your car got rear ended and the front right bumper was hit by a guard rail (no damage from guard rail), would the car's performance be effected? Rear ended on the back right bumper, trunk and back window broken. Just wanted to know.

I got rear ended pretty bad last month by a Toyota pickup. Car still drove the same as before. I had to drive it home and then to the body shop a few days later, didn't notice any change in performance.

definitely... you can cause damage to the frame.... and you will be able to notice a slight difference in steering.... especially if it caused camber.
if, when you go to allignment, you find that they have to push camber, etc to one end of the spectrum just to be within the required specs... then it's a good sign that you have issues.
