The car gods must hate me. I just got rear-ended
I can't f*cking believe this! I got rear-ended today on the way to work at about 5:05pm today on Kalakaua. I was at a stop sign waiting to get into traffic when I hear a "CRUNCH" from behind and got shook. I look back to see a white accord. I go around and see my bumper. "Fawk".
We go to the parking lot nearby and I assess the damage. His front left headlight is f*cked. My bumper has a gash. Fortunately, no structural damage....
This is the f*cked up part. I ask for his insurance info. He has none. The car is not registered under his name. This dumb moke lives with his girlfriend. I am willing to bet that he has no job, not to mention money.
I am f*cking pissed right now.
Any suggestions as to where to take my car now? I'll be posting pics once I get home.

Oh hells no!
I just got off a 14 hour work day and am SO PISSED to hear this...you do have uninsured insurance so I hope it covers...if not give me the motherb!tch's name!
If anything...on the bright side...I think it's time for a full STi bodykit.

That just happened to me...
about 2 months ago...sitting in my car at a stoplight on Kam Hwy / Mokulele Drive in Kaneohe....car does the same thing...a Pontiac Sunfire...bam...and I go, that sucks...I get hit on the lower bumper, no structural damage...we pull over, and I find out the guy is in the Marines...so I am thinking...this guy has to have insurance...
Turns out, his insurance expired a month prior to the accident...no insurance! But, I'm not worried, the worst place you can be uninsured in is the Military...only problem is, I had to dish out the $500 deductible...Geico will collect from him and reimburse me...but I am still out $500 until they get it from him...
1. Call 911, report an accident
2. Fill out Police Report
3. Get all the info you can from the guy/gal (Name, address, VIN, Insurance # etc)
4. Stay cool...getting pissed off will get you nowhere...maybe I didn't go nuts because I knew the guy was ok...and that it truly was an accident...he was fine and so was I...the main thing is my kids weren't in the car yet...
You can never get enough information....
Bummers, I feel for you bro...

Damn, I'm ****ing pissed for you! Even if you do have insurance that covers underinsured drivers, your rate will definitely go up. The sad thing is, no matter what, insurance companies ALWAYS make money.
