Front Tint...ever been hassled?

I'm gonna spend my tax refund on tinting my windows, my question is what front tint should I get? The back will either be 20% or 35%. Has anyone had problems for having 35% on the front, or should I go a little lighter?

I have 35% in the front and 5% in the rear....I have not been bothered by the police yet, I have had front tinted windows for 3 years (not on jus the WRX, on my other cars also) I have been pulled over for them once in that period of time and that too I did not get a ticket for...
So I say go for it....get the 35%.

My wife had 35% front and something darker in the rear of her Civic and she got a ticket a couple years ago. Thing is, it's not a fix-it ticket anymore in California. So, if you do get caught, you have to pay.

Remember how much I hate Mr. Tint? The boss guy that works at the Steven's Creek one has the WINDSHIELD of his Civic tinted pretty dark actually. What a tool.

You won't get hassled for your front door windows being tinted as long as you roll your windows all down when/if you get pulled over. As for windshields, are you guys insane, chemically altered, or genetically challenged? How can you possibly believe that you are not unsafe at night? Those of you who haven't ever actually driven such a car at night are, of course, exempt.
