I've been in the middle of moving to my new place - I took out my subwoofer from my trunk to make more space. Lazy me, I left the power/ground wires hanging exposed. About 20 mins later I turn on my car, to see white smoke billowing from my Alpine. It turns on, but is stuck at 3'08. ****.

I thought maybe it was just the fuse, but I talked to my electrical engineering friend and he says fuses don't billow out white smoke. :| Now I have to figure out if I want to try to get it repaired, or to just find a new headunit. Anybody an audio dealer here that can hook me up?
