Thought I would show off some of pictures from my snowboarding trip over the new years break. My Impreza did just fine with stock tires but new winter tires are in order for the next trip as the edges of the tires are wearing thin. All pictures are from a Canon S110.

 

This is a 5series BMW wagon, it's somewhere under those two or more feet of snow.

 

These little cars really do their job well. Makes me want to fill up the hatch with gear and go back again.

 

My dad and I drove up to tahoe over the break as well. I was in my 03 wrx and he was in his 05 outback wagon. We got into a pretty bad storm coming home over the donner summit, but we both made it w/o any major trouble. Shortly after we got through they closed hwy 80 due to a multi-car accident. My cousin left an hour after us and was stuck for 2.5 hours.

Oh don't forget, I still had my rear strut bar in place with that luggage there. I was very happy that didn't have to come off

went up to reno for new year, start driving at 5 pm new year eve, didnt get there till 5 am the next day.

 

omg that is a long drive!!

 

I don't own my own skis or snowboards so I don't use the roof racks. Only used them once to put a mattress on the roof.
