that is a really old model....yes they are very accurate, I have one of the new ones and it is really cool, but that one looks like its a few years old.

the product was made in 1994... and surplus is apparently, no good:

its not bad, because its old....all I am saying is, if you were to get one, spend the extra money and get the newest, latest, most up to date model....the new ones have many more features than that old *** one, and are more accurate due to better technology.
