5MT fried

My 5MT tranny is junk. I filled the thing with synthetic and I think that's what killed it. Anyhow, it pops out of 5th and 2nd and whines. I got lucky and found a used one with only 13k for 950 bucks.

My question is, where do I buy new bearings (synchro's) or some kind of tranny rebuild kit? I'd like to rebuild mine and either sell it or use it when my next one dies.

Thanks,

Eric

Don't rallispec and gruppe-s offer rebuild kits? Don't quote me, but I thought I saw rebuild its along with the better gear sets.

Thanks

Thanks for your responses. I've looked at all the products and it seems it would cost 1200 to rebuild the thing and that's w/o new gears. I'll stick with the tranny I bought and slap it together.

If anyone wants to buy a worn tranny, I would dump mine for cheap, $200. I live in Redondo Beach, CA 90278.
