WOWZA!! Sorry to hear that. Hopefully Carlsen will follow through with what they promised.

Looking forward to your update and the final outcome.

if the magnet falls off at any one point you can count on some bondo work

I'd to se you try this on your WRX hood.......

Aluminum=paramagnetic (no sticky)

do you really think a saturn would be streetable after an accident, it would probably be in a million pieces, tow truck driver would need a shovel. . . or a vacuum

Thumbs up Results of Meeting With John Fechi (Used car manager)

So, I met with John today. After an inspection of the car and a walk to his office this is how things stand. He explained to me that if we were to involve the courts the damage would not be significant enough for the judge to side with me. He said that he could have it fixed and just as easily sell the vehicle again. He said that he would not blame me to be unhappy about a vehicle this young and in this condition. He asked if I wanted to have the vehicle fixed. I said "No, Even though it would be fixed so you could never tell I would always know it was wrecked. I would prefer to buy an '05." So this is what we worked out... Null the contract for the '04. Completely wash my hands clean of it, and I'll be getting a 2005 Obsidian Black Pearl Wagon @ INVOICE +tax. I'm pretty happy. Not to happy about the break in period but I'm sure I'll get over it. So It seems that CARLSEN SUBARU came through. John Fechi was a really fair guy. He really put his money where his mouth is. Carlsen is back on the recommended dealers list.
I pick up my '05 on Monday. I can't wait!!! If you read this John "thanks a ton".
More updates on Mon.

good to hear Carlsen came through and took back your 04.

A 2005 @ invoice is still a really good deal. Congrats!

Glad this didn't turn out bad as most dealer stories involving potential screwing of the customer tend to.
