you have to get it through the county, if they went for it there would be a fee(that theres ways around ) but its what their requirements are that would be a prob, hopefully all they would need is event insurance,
Hey I didnt say it would be easy!

heres the facts:

1) there for about 6 hours today not a word was said, well one guy said "That thing got a HEMI!"

2) wether or not anyone says anything it is a lot better to go to an abandoned airstrip than to do it on the street.

3) before I decide to set a date I would like to obtain legal permission.

thats about it. I know for a fact I will be out there every weekend untill we set a date just a couple practice runs. heres the point whatever we do its your own choice to come or not, worse case scenerio they will ask us to leave. BTW the runways can not be seen from the road. the substation sherif dept. is two miles away from AIR base and they appear to be closed on weekends "Hint Hint."
I have an catless exhaust sys on my subby with a Helix DP and it is loud so if anyone was bothered someone would have came and said something to me no one did.

well the county would need a person or organization to be liable, and the insurance would be something to the effect of $1million general liability insurance, for a single event. If that sounds scary its not too bad, we pay $150 for a whole month of $1million general liability insurance, but it would have to be stipulated that people are responsible for themselves, their cars, and their property and should all have waivers, the insur is to coverthe county, not to cover us for wrecking cars

BTW, this use permit and insurance is just sh*t I know from when we used to throw raves back in the day, so your results may vary.
