Forester XT or Tribeca
I'd get the Tribeca if you're planning on having a family. The B9 Tribecas were ugly, but now that they redesigned and dropped the B9 (only Tribeca), they're not bad looking. I like that the Tribeca is designed to use 87 octane too.

i look at other brands, the mitsu outlander xls has nice features, great awd system with s-awc, lots of tech amenities that blows the forester out of the water, and the forester took the design of the outlander. its not given enough credit due to the only thing people seem to know about mitsu is the evo these days, but those who review it are always positive.
the rav4 still has the best powerplant in the class, but design of exterior and interior are dated, the crv is only a 4banger with no torque. ive compared all of them including the XT, and unless you are brand biased, the outlander XLS (only one worth considering has nice value)
and instead of the tribeca, i would look at the toyota highlander.
the outlander xls also has a 3rd row in that class, so does rav4 but it is not stowaway flat if you get it. its tight space, meant for smaller people, but its there.

The Rav4 seems awesome, huge power, selectable 4wd system, decent amount of room. But if you are over 6ft tall it's pretty much uncomfortable as hell. The seat is high, dash is low and the seat does not go back far enough.
Personally I like the looks of the Tribeca, especially the interior way more than the Highlander. I convinced my parents to buy a forester and I've been carpooling with my mom driving it. It's got plenty of room even for me being 6'4. If you need the 3rd row seats then I'd get the Tribeca, otherwise the Forester is great.
Forester all the way, the "beca" is just ugly as ****...becides, how can you say no to a forester, they are like, the greatest car ever created...

Depends how much seating you need. If you want to expand your family, then the tribeca sounds best. You already have a turbo wrx, do you really want another turbo car that your wife is driving? Plus, I think you should get a 2008+ Tribeca with the new front end (better looking) and has the 3.6L (regular gas instead of premium). Oh, and the ride on the new Tribecas is amazing. You would really enjoy driving around in it.

I really just wish they would give us the Exiga already.
