Forester XT or Tribeca
So the wife was rear ended in the prius. Its pretty ****ed up so the insurance is probably gonna total it out.
Anyway we cant decide on a Tribeca or a Forester.
Its gonna be the Forester XT if we get a Forester.
I really like the room of the tribeca, especially if we expand our family.
BUt i really dont have any great reason not to get one over the other than i like the interior of the tribeca more and it has more seating.
What should we get...

i look at other brands, the mitsu outlander xls has nice features, great awd system with s-awc, lots of tech amenities that blows the forester out of the water, and the forester took the design of the outlander. its not given enough credit due to the only thing people seem to know about mitsu is the evo these days, but those who review it are always positive.
the rav4 still has the best powerplant in the class, but design of exterior and interior are dated, the crv is only a 4banger with no torque. ive compared all of them including the XT, and unless you are brand biased, the outlander XLS (only one worth considering has nice value)
and instead of the tribeca, i would look at the toyota highlander.
the outlander xls also has a 3rd row in that class, so does rav4 but it is not stowaway flat if you get it. its tight space, meant for smaller people, but its there.

Tribeca is too ugly and big. New forester is ugly as well. Since you are not driving it; like the other member said, you could skip the turbo. How about legacy wagon or outback. I think it won the car of the year in Motor Trend.

To answer all questions...
Kenny if I buy I'm buying new... especially nothing with 90k.
Def staying with the turbo, I will be driving it 50% of the time.
Def staying with subaru, I love toyota don't get me wrong but I like subaru more.
Jourdan, the wife is on the fence with me.
Cost and size tribeca and forester are comparable. 20-30hp difference. Its just a turbo h4 or a n/a h6
I like the 3rd row option but at the stealership the forester and tribeca are just about the same size. And she could drive a tank so I'm not worried about that. Here soon the wag is gonna be too small for us.
I love the interior of the tribeca, thanks gibz, though but the outside reminds me of a ford explorer for some reason.
We might get an xt and trade up when the becas get less ugly.

She also wants something bigger than an outback or legacy especially since the accident.
We were lucky that my son wasn't in the car this time. I want as much body around them as possible.
And to state again I will be driving this, just like she drives the wrx so def turbo unless we get the beca.
