on front plates you can cut the entire plate except the numbers/letters

 

I just read on DMV's site you just can't alter the letter/numbers, all else is fair game.

Some random alpha numeric set of 7. It starts with a 5 and has a V in it some where.

I was paying my reg and asked what I needed to do to change. It was easy as pie.

Going to think things over before I bend this plate. That plate already got messed up hitting a raccoon so it was ok in my mind to mess with it more. And if I do cut holes I am making sure they are right on the money

It was fun for a year but it wore off and then I tried to look like a wrx and well then it was just stupid.
