FMIC Owner's, how do you mount your front plate?
off to the side looks the best IMO. i dont like this cut your front plate, or bending the plate look. either be baller about it and create a mounting bracket or just use ziptie like wrxguy. zipties will hold!

There's this magical fastening material called velcro.
Form the plate to the foglight cover.
Clean backside of plate and foglight cover very well.
After removing the shipping plastic, apply the hook side of the velcro to the backside of the plate.
Attach the loop side of the velcro to the hook side.
Remove the shipping plastic from the hook side of the velcro & align the plate to the foglight cover.
Press plate onto foglight cover.
Very clean and can tolerate very high speeds.

couldn't you in theory leave it untightened, and put some oil or something on it, so when you leave it flips up, when you come to a stop it comes back down...

see that's what I was wondering. They look baller but I think a cop would cry foul. With mine it's even more visible because it's higher. With the one that props down you still do block a portion of the FMIC still. It would be fun to see the different configs and if they even netted any differences on a dyno.
