FMIC info

Ok I'm having some fitment problems......

I had my pe turbo installed and the f@#$ TMIC is banging everything under the hood..... I'm tired of hearing it...

So.... I have all APS stuff now...

I want to go FMIC and get this sound gone....
I think it was perrin FMIC doesnt work with the APS intake?
Is the APS FMIC the only front mount that works with their intake?

My only other idea is to make a v-mount and go reversed intake... Then I can move the nice cool air off the hot turbo on return.

Any ideas what would work?

Anyone know of a aps fmic for sale? :RockOn - not mine:

It's hard to say much when there's not much info to go with. It's obvious you're very frustrated. But, it's probably not" banging everything under the hood". For starters are there marks (rub or dent) on the tmic. If you can see any it would be a good place to start. Is the IC torqued down correctly, are the isolation bushings too soft? Have you tried to ask if anyone else has this unit and has problems? Have you taken it to any local well respected tuning shops and had them look at it? When I was still a young 'hot rodder' I'd throw real snits and stomp stuff like this into oblivion only to find out later it was fixable for any number of reasons. You may have done all these things in which case stomp away. But if not step back for a few days and see if any help or ideas come. It's just that this stuff costs us so much dough and it's darn hard to save up for it.

^^^ I have gone down that list a few times... Its a great set up... The pe 1820 just pushes it over too far and its rubbing..

Yeah there are marks..

I love the set up. But I might go to a gt-35r now.. With a v-mount.
