Fire near the coast :(

Cruising on highway 1 towards Santa Cruz and there was a nice size fire going near Pescadero/La Honda and they had 84 closed. Anyone have a scanner to chime in? Hope everyone is safe!

It's at a single alarm. Not sure if a general alarm for myself was dispatched but. I'm too far ATM.

This, is what this state gets for being arrogant enough to let people build in WILD FIRE ZONES.

Hello, 3/4 of the plants in this state propagate and grow by fire (seed pods and such), its made to burn.

I am not anti-growth, but build in the right areas!

See that odd line of bush and trees near the river, that's the 100year flood line, you don't build below it!
See that old scorched rock with the dark black marks on it, pretty huge hint its a fire zone, don't build there!

Tell that to foster city and new orleans.....building below sea level.
Or how about dubai.....landmasses in the middle of the ocean for 5* resorts.
Or how about amsterdam.....floating houses cause they cant expand on land anymore!!!!!

People will continue to build where ever the hell they want....lol

Hats off to the staff who put it out, I was amazed to hear that it has been contained. I couldn't see the lot that was on fire and luckily it didn't spread. It looked worse in person and here is they only shot I got of it. Name: image-1.jpg
