Now Joseph wants to start talking again. All talk, no action. Lets see if you can get past the first round of the playoffs. The Giants are red hot right now. Then either the Niners or the Pack has to go through Tampa Bay.

Where you gonna say the Pack got punked by the Jets? Yes we did. We got our a$$e$ handed to us. Its all right though. At least we didn't blow a 4th quarter lead up 20-0 to an under.500 team AKA the Lambs, and get 31 points scored in a row on us. Oh and you can make up all the exuses you can about "our backup players were in there" or "if only Jeffy would have played". A loss is still a loss buddy.

Good luck WHiners! Not a likely win though.

Uh huh... and what would happen to any other team that puts the 3rd string D in against their biggest rivals starters? Damn skippy they got schooled. Let's see how the Pack's practice squad would measure up against Garcia-to-Owens. That would be pretty funny too, hahaha.

Hey Andy, that sucks! Welcome to the other Andy's club.

The State ref is a **** too. He almost failed me for a turbo timer.

Did those cops tell you that you could only drive your car home, and then to the referee? Basically 86ing you from the road? That is what they told me.

It is no biggy, but the fine is high. About $150. This Andy didn't pay his on time, even though he visited the Ref, and got the other portions of the ticket signed off. He is very stupid, so his fine is now $550! I thought that I had a warrant for not paying it, but it just says that I can't renew my liscense if I don't pay. That is not until 2005!

Two more things~

I noticed on my first $150 notice that it said "Proof of correction required" on the bill from the Superior Court of the Communist State of California.

On the bill that I recieved for the past due, the one that shot up to $550, there is no "Proof of correction required". Isn't that wierd. Maybe I found a loophole, and a crucial manner to circumvent a difficult law? Wouldn't that be sick!

Lastly,

It is VERY HARD for a cop to prove that you are under the influence of the green. The reason being is that MJ is a potent drug that sticks to the fatty cells in your blood. You are at 100+ nanograms for like 2 weeks after you smoke. It is not like booze, where they can just tell if you are intoxicated at that time. That half life of MJ is a long one. I used to work hand in hand with a toxicology lab when I was a recruiter. The closest that they could give you was 14 days.

The only way that you could get popped for that is if your eyes are bloody red, or if you are acting like an **** and you fail a sobriety screening. So if you have your head screwed on properey, you will be fine.

Good luck Andy. I hope that my info helps you out a little. You have to trust me when I tell you that, "I feel your pain".

Don't hate your country hate your state government

As near as I can tell, this kind of thing doesn't happen here in Florida. I can have anything under the hood I want as long as it is not too loud (my rights end where others begin). Given that, it is your state and the wacky laws your fellow Californians have voted for that is the root of this problem.

California has always been politically ultra liberal/government involved in our daily lives. I find it interesting that the most liberal states tend to have the worst record dealing with minorities while the historicaly conservative state couldn't give a rat's *** about what you are driving.

Well, forgive the political rant. Suffice to say that I am sorry you got pulled over and deeply offended that someone gave the police (ie. the government) the right to check under your hood. That is your property, your business and, in most of the rest of the country, your right.

Good luck.

Yea I think there is a loophole here to exploit. I remember my buddy said he just paid the fine in court and he didn't have to see a ref. Of course the fee is really really high

I did not have a problem with the guages. I am not sure if it was 6 or 8 weeks that they gave me to get it fixed. One of those two.

The ref scanned the OBDII codes, checked for CEL's visually, visually inspected everything. Looked for both O2 sensors, ran the sniffer, and that is about it. The inspection cost like 40 or 50 bucks as well.

I was looking at the first bill from the courts last night. It was $130 if you provide proof of correction, and $250 if you did not. I don't know what that means...you can buy your way out of it? You will see what I am referring to when you get the bill. You should get an official bill from the Superior Court of California within the next couple of weeks.

Also, the smog ref has to sign off the ticket and place their bar# on it.

I feel for you man. It is a PITA.
