I will guarantee that locally, not a soul would say anything in either stock or SP about debadging. If so, the protest committee would just laugh at them and tell them to get a life (or drive faster)

Even at National events I don't think people protest debadging.

The rule was probably put in there so you don't take a higher-spec stock car, debadge it, then try to sneak it into a slower class.

"This is a Civic DX, not an Si!" etc..
