Big +1 on that. I don't like shooting at indoor ranges either esp when there are so many good outdoor ranges up here.

If we both can make it I have exactly that Sig and you are welcome to try it out.

Anyone ever go to Richmond Rod and Gun club? Outdoor shooting FTW.

Agreed, indoor sucks compared to outdoor... Only thing that sucks about outdoor is the seize fire drills every 10 mins (for rifles at least). I wish they made 100 yard long target retrieval systems, lol

or if you can PTP it from someone who is a cop (who arent limited to the safe gun list, cause kalif decided that cops are superhuman) or someone who just moved into the state and owns one prior...

Forgot to mention; police, mil, and I live in AZ. So the XDM is no problem.

I changed it up completely and decided to get an FNX-40 over the XDM.

Great range, but they have some STUPID *** rules there. The one that bugs me the most is the "SKS" rule. Because of 1-2 retards with Yugo SKS that hotfired (due to improper cleaning), they have a rule that NO sks can have more than 2 rounds in it. Never mind the fact I pulled my bolt, showed them the custom milling job (done by me), the spring back pin (not free floating), the custom polish job, new USA made springs/gas pins, and the full polished gas port I did.

Pissed me off so much I don't know that I will ever go back up there again. The whole blanket rules because of 1-2 bad people just tweaked me the wrong way.

If you guys really want, we can all somewhere super remote shoot the ****, talk about cars, I'' being my telescope which is so big that it doesnt fit into a single car ( a 10" reflector with full size EQ mount + Auto tracking. If we go somewhere REALLY dark like Truckee we'll see soooooooo much stuff, probably more than anyone here has ever seen via telescope.

The higher the elevation the lower the atmospheric which means that the skies are SUPER clear and you can see an amazing amount of detail on EVERY planet, galaxy, globular cluster. and various other things.

It'd really be a trip that you guys would never forget about. In the day time we have a BBQ, shoot off some rounds into the target area, and when it gets dark we have some brewski's, a bon fire, an epic BBQ of all sorts to meet everyone's taste.

How many of you would be down for a 3ish or so day trip up to Placerville area off Mosquito road? Guns, delicious BBQ, no lame rules that gun ranges have... Just bring everything you need and it's free to shoot. Its kind of a a shoooting/traiing trip with a huge potluck of some realu foods
