Feeler for Shooting Range meet

Hi all.

Anyone interested in a shooting range meet? Someone needs to teach me how to shoot straight.

:P

We've done this many times in the past and we have some great shooters on board... We also have some very experienced police officers who are also gun nuts that have showed up to our meets and have brought fully automatic MP5's and such which was AWESOME. I doubt that will happen again though since the people I mentioned above don't really post on i-club anymore...

Best of luck! My schedule is JACKED and it's hard for me to even show up to a meet that is pre-scheduled every week, let alone one that is set for a certain date. My avail times vary greatly and it's hard for me to commit to anything... So "MAYBE" I'll be there.

I hear overbear owns a tank with 20,000 shells that he's willing to teach anyone how to shoot*

Yeah. I need to learn shoot better. This is my last target.

Glock 19, 21ft, 4th time shooting. 74 total shots fired before this session.

I'm interested, indoor if the weather is foul, or preferably outdoor where I can bring my booming M1 Garand...

It's fun, dude. Expensive as f***, but fun as hell.

I enjoy it. It's nice. I just get to zone in and do my own thing. Relaxing really.

I like the handgun thing, but I really want a good smoothbore rifle.

I WISH!

But I might be down for a shoot at some point. I don't mind bringing out a few plinkers and blowing off 300-400 rounds. Really depends on the day, the time, and where its held.

Its not too bad if you stick to .22's for practice tell your ready to step up to bigger stuff. That said, I rarely take out a couple of my guns because at $2-$4 a shot, it gets a bit $$$$$ real fast.

What do you have that costs $4 a shot? Can't you reload it any cheaper?

.50 cal anything is more than $4 a shot.

although cdnn has brand new brass loaded .50 bmg for $2.69 each... lowest i have seen in years.

.500 S&W. a box of 20 cost me $60.

glad i dont have .50 beowolf yet...

and finally, something i wish i had, is the .338 lapua magnum. box of 20 is over $120...
