HDPE (high performance driving event) or "track day". Costs about $225-325 for the day, you run your own car on a real track with over an hour (total) of on track time. Freakin major adrenaline rush.

- change your brake fluid to dot 4 or better. Easy to get stuff: Valvoline Syntech brake fluid
- read up on the basics before you go

- you'll need a helmet; rent a smelly, limited availability one from the organizers or buy one that is snell rated SA or M 2000 or 2005.

i am getting new slotted rotors and HP braked pads. i already got my lines upgraded.
