any thoughts from THOSE WHO HAVE SEEN IT (very important to read the bold typed words)?
This movie has "made my temperature rise". This is a great look at what has happened in the last four years from a fresh perspective and what Iraqis see and fear. We are only subjected to the news here.
I have a very strong gut feeling Bush will not be our President after Election 2004.
I know there are a lot of people who think this is Michael Moore's jaded perspective, but the fact is there are dead bodies.
We are at war for peace? Really?
Thoughts?

Jus playing I saw the matinee today it was AWSOME!!! and the truth finally comes out, hey I defintetly know this will change many peoples opinions about the US.
as long as you go see it and know that you are seeing some one else point of view.
no matter what, LEFt or RIGHT. it is all propaganda.
i happen to agree wuth a lot of what Moore has to say, but non the less, you must always remember that is is just a point of view, and it is always propaganda, just like the right like to put out on many media outlets.
take it with a grain of salt, and then..
GO THINK FOR YOURSELF!!!!!
and make up your own mind.

Just do some research on your own, into Michael Moore's "truths". You'll find most of them are lies or huge distortions of the real truth.
But I wouldn't expect anyone who runs out and sees that movie to do their own research. You libs like to be spoonfed.
I did some of it for you:

I saw the movies yesterday as well. Very well done. Very good arguments brought up in the movie. Video clips and proof that the Bush administration is a shady *** bunch and should NEVER be trusted. Everyone needs to see this movie. Best part of the movie is when MM is trying to get politicians members to sign up their kids for the war, since they don't mind sending other peoples kids out to Iraq to get killed.

I'd like to know what he said about the Iraqi's? I bet he said they ALL hated the U.S.A. and interviewed those that wouldn't say otherwise, right? I have about 100 personal & trusted friends that aren't "subjected to the news we see here" that paint a completely different picture of Iraq and it's people. Yes there's people in Iraq that hate us but they're an insignificant population that's always been loyal to Sadam because they once had a grip on their lives at the expense of others. Please fill me in on Moore's views based on what "Iraqi's see and fear". Thanks.
Are we at war for peace? Yes and No... War has almost always been based on a specific criteria which involves political gain, just cause, personal gain etc. I believe we've done a LOT of good in Iraq and know for a fact it's citizens are greatful eventhough they're anxious in "picking up the tap" if you catch my drift. We've gotten rid of a powerful dictator and have provided a foundation for Iraq. If we manage to pick-up a few oil fields at the same time then I say kudos! If you're the type of person to complain about gas prices and turn the ignition of your car then you're guilty as well. War has always been based on a specific criteria beyond the Roman Empire and i think we've covered most of said criteria. It's an unfortunate side effect that war causes casualties in every aspect. Regardless of what the President tells our fine men and women to fight for (based on motives) rest assured those men and women died honorably. Never forget that!

Just play your cards right if you plan on voting (i may not vote this time for reasons already stated) and do some research for yourself. If you still come out with the same views as Moore then more power to you and I encourage you to vote how you deem fit.

The most political statment I'll ever make is this:
If Bush and Kerry are our only two choices, the country is in for a world of hurt. Go, Nader!

It seems as if both the right and the left have closed minds...
I'm pretty center-right, and I've seen evidence of Moore's bias, fact-twisting, and outright lies. There's a ton of evidence of this from his doc. "Bowling for Columbine", and even still, I want to see both that movie as well as 9/11.
I've always believed that 9/11 was a conspiracy by our govt., against our own citizens, but I guess asking for the whole, real truth behind it all, is too much to ask.
