explorer + drunk driver= bad for my suby
Sorry to see your car in that condition but it does remind me of a funny story. A buddy of mine use to live near Reno. He had a car that he had blown the motor in so he towed it to a dangerous icy corner outside of town and left it there on new years eve. He came back the next day and his car was totaled. The driver that hit it was nice enough to leave a note with the his insurance info. My buddy got a new (used) car out of the deal.

The really sad part is, pretty much everyone I know drives drunk from time to time. In fact, I would bet that a large percentage of people in this thread do. Usually the people who talk down the most are guilty. So weird how that works.
It's nothing to mess around with. If you drink alcohol and then drive on the same day you could be driving drunk or at least over the limit. Get a breathalyzer and prepare to be surprised. I bought one and it's actually been really fun at parties, and flat out priceless for showing my family and loved ones how much they actually DO drive drunk. www.breathalyzer.net. Good times.
Sorry to hear about your loss, but there should be no problem getting that totalled. I personally wouldn't mess with parting out unless you have lots of mods, the space, time and know what to do with it when it's parted.
