i got pulled over for speeding, and the cop said he would trade the moving violation for a fix it on my silenced borla.

Then i took my unfixed car to Santa Cruz Sheriff and it got signed off

Driving a wagon helps but I have had no problems with a catted downpipe and EVOII painted black with BBQ paint.

I never got pulled over with an Invidia catted downpipe and a Prodrive muffler.

But then again, I'm old and white and it was a wagon.

Depends where you live, IMO. I live in Sonora and have a Invidia N1 and a 3" dp and catless. Never been pulled over for it even on every trip i've made to the bay, sac, valley, reno, etc.

Greddy Ti-C with supressor and DP. Very simple. Got pulled over the first week I had it because I had not put on the silencer yet. Anyway, 3 years and no prob.

you can lose all the cats you like, but if you keep the stock rear muffler a cop will never give you a second look. you will leave 5whp on the dyno and you won't have any 'boxer rumble' but you can run cat free without popo attention

The maddad whisper and the spt probably tie for the quietest exhaust. Borla hush is of course very quiet. Honestly if you run anything stock looking, and then don't drive like an ***, cops usually don't bother you. But of course it depends on where you living, and their mood that day.

Grimspeed ported header/cross over, catless helix, borla HUSH catback, Externally gated grimspeed/tial to atmosphere.

My car is either, super quiet, or super loud.
