This is great info guys, thanks! My next and I think last question is what if I'm planning on getting an EGT Gauge? I will need to leave the EGT probe in correct?

I think the gauge comes with a new sending unit that you screw in...

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Quick inquiry on "limp mode". Is it completely noticeable, or just a slight drop off of power? The reason I ask, is that I've had my cel on for about 11 months, but the car runs strong. Just wondering whether there is potential HP laying dormant.

No it's completely noticable. Won't rev over 2k, even then stumbles terribly.

About the EGT gauge, you don't want to use the factory probe, it's too far away from the cylinders to really mean much. People usually tap the headers just outside cyl3 (but more failures of cyl4 have been seen...so take that FWIW).

woot xmas! almost vacation time, just have to slack through 2 more days!
