U STILL MAD LOL
You're welcome to keep making assumptions about me and my likes/dislikes, but you're not likely to land on anything remotely approaching the truth.
Feel free to send however many hipsters you want from southern to northern CA - won't bother me any, as they're highly unlikely to move to Marin county.

This actually made me laugh - nicely done. I can only hope this happens, as then I'll have more people to not be mad at in my general vicinity.

IMO a hipster is someone that tries too hard to fit in to a particular niche because they think its cool, rather than them actually having a passion for it (aka poser). Posers/hipsters have been around a long time and I wouldn't confine them to the way a few people dress in SF.

So none of you have ever changed things about your personal style or musical taste because of what you see going on around you?
Read: buying a Subaru, wearing ugly Monster Energy Ken Block SRTUSA billboard t-shirts and hoodies, etc? Same shiz different day. The only thing ironic about anything in that picture is that people from outside that demographic deemed it as such. Chances are if you hate hipsters - or any other group for that matter - you're either one of them or were rejected by one at some point.

I am a severe Subaru fanboy, and will always wear Subaru stuff, especially the newer stuff that seems "good enough" to me to get. In a sense, I'm a "Subaru hipster".
Problem is, isn't being "hip" supposed to be cool? I look like a f***ing nerd because of my Subaru merchandise. And despite looking so uncool, I wear it proudly.
As for style...
function > fashion
I don't like buying jeans from huge chain stores, but army surplus stores (so they don't rip apart on me every f***ing year!)
And Subarus seem to follow the same philosophy, they have AWD and many consider them "ugly" (but the styling is subjective)
