I used to work at walmart when I was like 16. And when pushing some carts in I found purse.. I returned it.. because I thought about "what if that was my moms..." and felt bad.

I put my wallet on the top of my car one day as I was loading stuff up, and then drove away without retrieving it off my roof.

It never got returned, but I canceled all my cards and stuff before they got used.

I have lost my wallet. It friggin sucks.....I lost my wallet in El Sugundo....

seriously.

Worse than that I had someone break into my car and gut it....and they stole my CC wallet. It had my ENTIRE christmas present in it. My folks decided one year to give all the kids giftcards instead of presents...rad idea except when someone jacks them. Like $1000.

I've returned wallets before. I don't understand the idea of keeping someone's wallet. Shoot I don't pocket anything. I don't want any ill nothing coming from anyone.

Fortunately there are still people in this world like you.

I was at walmart on Sat. I got $60 out of the ATM after my purchase. Got in my car. Drove away. Went to get some grub at panera. Went to pay...only $10 in my wallet. I ran out the door....yeah my fat ***..running. Got in my car. Drove back to walmart.

Someone gave my money to the manager...or she saw it...one of the two. Anyways. I showed my receipt at customer service and they handed me $60 rapped in a piece of paper.

ALL OF IT THERE>

I couldn't believe it. Totally blew me away.

I lost mine once at Heathrow airport on my way to Switzerland, talk about a messed up trip!

Fortunately I was traveling with a co-worker who covered me or I'd have been in deep poo.

It's unfortunate that people pocket money, the worse of those evil doers are those that pose as charities and leaders for social gatherings.

By the way: http://apnews.myway.com/article/20071004/D8S2LSGG1.html

Saw that in the news the other day. $65,000 in a bag, returned to the bank.

Almost the exact same thing happened to me. I lost my wallet getting out of my car at the Oakland Museum. I didn't realize for a day or so, and in the meantime, I had three charges for gas on my CC. That's a lot of driving the Ghetto folk did in one day...

Someone returned my wallet to me. It was the coolest thing that ever happened, and I offered the guy $100 but he wouldn't take it.

To all of the honest people, thank you.
