ERZ Flex Uppipe... UPDATED with review!

I just bought this on eBay and will post a follow up once its installed.

Yes some of you say you get what you pay for, my boss says that and have found countless times when that rule of thumb is not always correct.
Please no flaming about not supporting local, or buying a helix. The people on here that know me, know I am a cheap ***. ;P

Anyone that has one installed, please post! I know there are people on here with them.

I have one in my car right now. Crap load of miles and no leaks. I'm happy with it.

I have heard horrible things about them once people use them for a long time. You may have good results though.

Thumbs up good performance, tricky install...

Racenut, 1badrex, and myself installed it yesterday.
Install wasn't bad untill we had bolted the header, and uppipe back on to find out that 2 of the 5 top flange bolts were too long and blocked the bottom lip of the downpipe bell mouth from mounting up to the turbo correctly.
So we took the EGT, and O2 sensors off, the passenger side header, and uppipe then we used a dremel to cut off the flat nubs off two of the flange bolts (see attached photo to see what im talking about).

That took about an hour to get everything torqued back up to spec.
The only standing problem was getting the stock passenger side(or turbo side I guess) IC hose connected back up. How the hell do you do this correctly??!!!?!
We were able to get it on, but it doesn't look as far on as it used to be.

Anyways, got everything back together, all left over hardware accounted for (4 screws from the smallest heat shield), started bucky up and ran perfect! =) No exhaust leaks (yay!). This was using the provided gaskets with the uppipe.

Spools up a lot faster now, great mod to get rid of turbo lag. I noticed it helps a lot between shifting and take off.

So to conclude, for the price its not bad, but the guy didn't provide instructions ( got mine from scoobymods.com ), and had to use a dremel to cut off the excess flange bolt. Good mod though for someone who wants to stay as stock as possible but wants to get rid of the turbo lag.

btw, this was on an 04 wagon.
