Here's our first 2015 STI. This customer drove up all the way from LA. We did a baseline pull bone stock, then installed a Cobb intake and performed a custom tune. Here is the chart with stock and final results.

The most impressive part to me were the stock baseline numbers. That's a huge improvement over the 08-14 models which usually did about 200whp stock!

Wow, that's pretty nice. I have been doing a bit of reading, but it seems like the engines are more or less carried over from the '08-'14 models. Is this all tuning, or are there actual differences?

Do you guys offer STI short blocks with 4032 Supertech Pistons and corresponding PTW clearances appropriate for somebody looking for longetivity, no-noise, and at most Stage 2 power?

Happy to build one but we have not used those pistons in the past. I'm personally not sold on the 4032 pistons as they usually call for similar PTW clearances. We've used the Cosworths and Mahle's and found them to be at least as noisy as a good set of CP or Manley pistons. The last few batches of Manley graded pistons have been very quiet.

It depends on what you're looking for and your budget. Most people end up going with a 2.5l for an upgrade but some choose to stay with a refreshed 2.0l. Please give us a call and we can discuss your options.

Thanks
