I recently bought a 1993 Impreza L wagon after it had been sitting in a lot for about a year or more.

I want to know how much how a tune up, fluid flush/change, All fluilds. Whatever it needs to be a daily driver.

The car has almost 200,000 mile on it. the motor is a 1.8 with 5 speed tranny. I have not drove it past 20mph, so I really cant tell if anything is wrong with motor.

It starts up fine everytime. I have ran the motor for thity minutes and more to if the temp rises, it stayed the same. No leaks, but the clutch feels like it needs to be changed.

The car is on no-op right now, so it will be towed to your shop if you can get it in.

I use open source as well as ProTuner for Evo tuning.

Thanks Ed, when I go to check this car out how many monitors should be on? Does the forward facing Borg Warner turbo kit with speed density screw with the monitors? I asked if the check engine light was on and they said it was turned off? Does that come up when smogging? I'm worried with the New smog law they will find these and I will be screwed in the future. You ever here of FFtec out of Hayward? They are selling the owners Evo 9 shop car, I'm trying to figure out how well this car was takin care of. Car has under 16,000 miles, you would think it should be very clean.

I'm not sure how many monitors... generally they should all be set. I'm also not sure about that specific kit and what it effects directly. It all depends on how they set it up and tuned it.

You've got to be kidding. I literally leaned over to Sandy, pointed at exit 43 as we drove pass on Sat (few min before noon) and declared, "There's my exit!"

Only to just now spotted your 'Impromptu BBQ at EQ Tuning Today.'

Damn you, sir.... Damn you!

Hopefully you'll put together another event soon. I would love to swing by, but honestly couldn't get away from work & school on any of the weekday just yet.

For the time being; internet high-five with a manly hug, and cheers, my friend.

Souky

Here is a 2012 WRX I tuned this week. This car has a Cobb catted DP, P-West TMIC, AEM CAI, Walbro, MBC, and custom tune (STOCK CATBACK):

The baseline pull in this chart is a tune from another tuner without the TMIC, CAI, Walbro, and MBC.

Seriously impressive for stock catback!

Here is an 07 STI we recently built an engine for. This has an EQ Stage 0 shortblock, stage 1 heads, Perrin TBE with TWO cats, Perrin EL headers, Walbro, MBC, and custom tune:

Thanks
