Enough Ranting about STi Owners...Those VW R32 Guys are the REAL Dorks!?
anybody read the R32 review on the San Jose Mercury News today?
paraphrase: "The STi or EVO would lay the proverbial smackdown on the R32, but that makes little difference to VW enthusiasts (ney--fanatics
), because it's the best Golf that VW offers right now."
Reads to me like a major diss...despite the fact the reviewer gave it four stars.

the funny part is i was told by a VW dealer himself that the GTI 20V Turbo is faster than the R32 because of the weight of AWD and the V6

i've ridden in a stock r32 at the track and they handle like front wheel drive cars because of the way the awd bias is set up. not only that, but my wrx could easily smoke the r32. the extra weight means a lot in the corners esp when i feel the wrx is too heavy.... but that aside, the recaro seats are very nice
hahahaha
