Another thing. I think the movie would have been a ton of a lot more scary if we didn't see the boar head... The fact that we saw the creatures really up close and could recognize some features really took the enigmatic haze out of the picture. it shouldn't be really clear what they look like. but then again, he's making a point. These creatures are just animal bodies. Nothing reallly special about em. haha.
same thing happened in Signs.... why did you do it?! why mr. sham....?! seeing the alien up close in signs was soo stupid. The brazilian thing was as close as it should have been. I guess that's what Mr. SHam likes to do. Creep people out, then show em up close so they can sleep easier at night.
i had problems sleeeping last night because my door kept on shaking.. and i thought i heard claws.......... oh man. i'm too tired for work now. i'll never watch a scary movie again.

the movie was WEAK!
i didn't expect a great movie, but i at least expected something decent. the plot was so predictable, the special effects horrible, and the ending disappointing. i don't mind the $7 i paid, it's my time that i want back.
i honestly think that his only *good* movie was the sixth sense, which is on my list of "top 10 movies of all time".

I believe that they said something like "Noah found the costume", it seemed like there could be no possibility. But then again how did he get out?
Anybody else notice the nice land rover defenders? When I first saw them I thought the compund was in England! THat security company has to be paid damn well in order to afford land rover defenders!

you could totally see the plot developing right when the father told the daughter about her grandfather's talent for making money. i expected something "modern" in the box, not newpaper clippings. i seriously thought they would have a handgun or more modern day technology.
also, i thought that the movie would end with a bird's eyeview of the compound...like a satelite photo or a picture taken from a plane. imagine a small plot of land amidst the hectic city.

Speaking of endings, I still think Unbreakable should have ended with Bruce leaving the comic shop, getting in his car... then *BOOOOM* the comic shop blows up! And Mr. Glass escapes with his mother...
what gets me is how the blind chick ran full speed to that rock thing. she didnt trip, no stumbling...just a b-line to that rock.
She must have counted how many full speed strides it took to reach the rock. I wonder how many times she ran into the rock before she got it right..hahaaa.
And the accent thing? WTF was that about? I mean did they really have to speak like that?
The head guy who was from the super rich Walker family could have created a society that had never been dreamt of...the possibilities were endless. But they choose something out of the 1800s like that was innocent. Well i guess, if you take it from the Little House on the Prarie side, running through the field and crap like that...and not like Deadwood with prostitutes and murderers and **** this and **** that flying around.
With all of M. Knight Shamalamadingdong's movies the part that is supposed to be the "scary-thiller" part is always more interesting than the "twist" he throws in. So you're in there like ooooh...ahh...wait...huh...damn, that's what it's about?
WEAKSAUCE!!!

those Land Rovers were hecka nice. I really wanna see it again so i can fill in some gaps. i regret not paying attention. I thought the movie was good... but i still had problems with seeing the creates really up-close. and i don't remember the exact ending. i just remember it sucked.
what was teh ending? a shot of the village or something?

hey, ya know what? i just thought of a good ending. When all of the elders are still in lucious' room and ivy walks in... everyone is all grouped together... all of a sudden you can hear the BELL and then the movie is over....hehehehe. that's creepy.

I would've preferred it to be about aliens...and not the type that get killed by a glass of water
the twist in signs was that everything happened for a reason. it's kinda like memento where the audience is supposed to be captivated with the series of events...that they still hooked and follow the chronological timeline. in signs, everything happened for a reason and the ending put it all together.
gooder -- they justified the 1800 accent with the simple explanation that the walker guy (girl's dad) was a university history professor, so it "made sense" for them to choose a lifestyle that someone had a lot of knowledge about. all the intricacies and the framework of that society was laid out for the village people to follow as to ensure a grounded and sensical lifestyle.
