Ending of "The Village"

*WARNING* might give away the plot.
hey, i know i'm real late on this, but i just watched the village last night. at the end, when the elders are deciding if they want to stay, they stand up. What was the question? Did they decide to stay in the end?
Also, did they know all along that Noah was the dressing up as a creature. Or did he only do it that one time at the end? His parents walk into the quiet room and see that he escaped. They say "oh noah, the animal!".. or something of the sort.

Ok, i was just wasn't paying too much attention at the end, so if someone could give me answer, or even just some input, that'd be great. thanks a lot.

that movie rocked my socks off. I'd say M. NIGHT is more of a triller than a horror producer/writer/director.

You got it! Kind of a weak ending to a good movie.

NO WAY MAN!! that's the brilliance! see, this is why i like that kind of movie. It doesn't haunt me. The creatures aren't "REAL", so i will sleep easy at night. Aliens from Signs were really stupid looking... not scared of those.
BUT the sixth sense!! DANG!!! i was uneasy for a whole week. i'm real bad at movies, maybe i should watch them on dvd with the lights on. haha.

but yeh, when they opened the box, i was like wtf?.....

i think most people out there thought this stuff took place in like the 18th century or something. My friend was wispering to me, "damn they dresss like pilgrims, what kinda old *** is this?!" haha.

i loved that ending. hah. would you be more pleased if there were REAL creatures and stuff? Ok.. take it back. Having it set in the modern world is questionable.. the plausible "fact" that the creatures don't exist is a check on my list. haha.

what's next on his list of movies?

oh, just a question, anyone know if Landon or whatever his name was.. if he survived?

Yes the movie was different, and that is what I liked. But I nailed the ending halfway through the movie. I have never guessed a twist in a movie before and this was my first! I thought that he could have changed a few things around and made it a lot better. Anyways, did you catch M. Night in the movie?

Noah also slaughtered those animals that were left around without pelts.

It was hinted at that Noah was locked in that room often, and probably found the outfit around the beginning of the movie, if not before.

I still think this movie was designed to **** all the people who always expect some sort of crazy ending at the end of his movies If you didnt go into this movie looking for another one of his trick endings, it was a good movie.

ok. so, back to one of my questions. When the parents came in and said "noah, the animal" or something like that... did they know right then that Noah was dressing up as a creature?
