Employer Identification Number's
Does anyone here have one of these? I was talking to my friend about them today and I began to wonder if you can get credit with an EIN just like you can with your SSN. just a thought.
good luck.
somehow every credit company wants your SSN. who uses EIN except the IRS....
at my work (cal state hayward), we are moving from using SSN as a unique identifier for each person and came up with the NET ID system of a 2 digit alpha + a 4 digit number ID...
eventually, if EIN does replace the SSN, guess what? the EIN will then be used to abuse the system just as the SSN is now (fraud, etc.).
i'm waiting for the time that our DNA will be our unique identifier... (well certain twins are excluded... lol....)
