subaru motor identification help
what is the fastest subaru original from a sti motor called? not just usa but including UK and Japan??? becuz i plan to swap mines into a original 2.0Litre instead of the 2.5litre
Its really debatable, because motors aren't really 'fast' in and of themselves. They need to be connected to wheels and stuff. Further one motor with a high power potential, but under utilized could be slower then a stock motor with minor bolt ons.
I think what you are looking for, though, is the EJ20G. Its a Japanese STi motor that is generally considered the motor with the greatest potential power output, as it can handle higher boost levels and rev limits and stuff like that.

The money you would spend to get that motor and have it put in would be thousands of dollars that could be spent on modding your current motor ( which has a LOT of potential)
