San Francisco's "Mig Alley"
When it happened again....
When I finish up at work late at night, the drive home inevitably takes me up Pine Street, Masonic, Lincoln then into the Sunset.
Last week it was a brand spankin' new S4 Convertable still with the dealership paper plates. He was already at the stop light and Pine and Divisadero, when I pull up. Light turns green, he mashes the pedal and takes off then skids at the next red. I mosey along because there is one thing I know that clearly he doesn't.... the lights on Pine Street are timed for about 33-35mph. Once you reach Presidio then you can catcth all green down to Anza. So it's the same at every stop... burn rubber... skid to a stop. All the while, I'm hitting the lights with a second or two before the crosswalk just in case anyone runs a red.
Then it's up toward Presidio... he skids to stop 3 feet past the crosswalk. Light turns green, I'm back about 3 feet and hit the accelerator and pull two car lengths ahead of him down Masonic to Anza. I proved my point. Nothing more to say but he does the same thing all the way down to Lincoln and 7th Avenue. What do we know about the lights up Fell Street? They're timed too!
Tonight, I was driving down Pine and three kids in a Lexus is300 blows by a red and turns onto Pine Street forcing me to quickly do an evasive maneuver out of his way. Once again... same thing at every light. Rev... brake. I did my usual... 30mph hitting the lights. Guys were "whooping" it up and throwing signs out of the moonroof. They finally turn off at Lyon.
Amazing!!! I'm sure I'll have something to report every week. A month ago, it was a 2005 GTO. Put him down too.

I thought this thread had something to do with drifting my 6sp LSD equipped Nissan Pathfinder at 100mph but I can control from a slide.
Thanks for nothing Stan
