Kyle, as you know, the economy has been real tough on our company and we have to let you go. Sorry.

yes, especially on a Friday. So people be careful tomorrow if you get invited to the office. tell them you have to go the bathroom and then run as fast as you can. they can't fire you if they can't find you.

Its ok, all the silicone valley computer geeks pay the city to play indoor basketball for like $50/hr per court so they give me $13 of it I'm set as long as the geeks think they can play haha. no theyre pretty good actually.

So, Peter, what's happening? Aahh, now, are you going to go ahead and
have those TPS reports for us this afternoon?

No. *Tetris sound effects*

Ah. Yeah. So I guess we should probably go ahead and have a little talk. Hmm?

Not right now, Lumbergh, I'm kinda busy. In fact, look, I'm gonna have to ask you to just go ahead and come back another time. I got a meeting with the Bobs in a couple of minutes.

I wasn't aware of a meeting with them.

Yeah, they called me at home.

no change with my day job... detail services slowed down a lot and retail stay flat. but it's obvious who is getting hit on the service side. most of my lower package customers are gone, but high package customers stay flat maybe even slightly up. so poor gets poorer and rich stays rich...

Kinda like the the housing market, Rich people will still buy rich homes, poor people nit pick about all these minor things in homes before purchase, and homes are tougher to sell at the lower end.

At work, I process money. Stores aren't getting a lot of business, money volume went down, therefore my hours are getting cut...

On another note (Chevrons bags increased enormously and are now sitting stable; doubled the size of the original bags)

people with enough money to buy a house is taking advantage of the low prices, i'm no expert but within 5 years i'm sure market will rise again unless we go into civil war or something.

I work as a Service Technician for a HVAC company for Local 104, and there are alot of people that have been out of work for 6-7-8 months for some of them.
My company has been pretty stable so far, the Install guys have slowed down which kinda hurts me In some ways because there aren't any new units for me to start up. But on a day to day basis I have enough Maintenance contracts out to keep me busy. I have noticed that when I do find something wrong with a unit whether It be a small simple replacement or a Large problem to fix, The big companies that own the space or even the building don't even want to pay for It and just say that they will deal with It when next years budget comes around...
I haven't seen a 40 hour pay check In awhile which sucks because I haven't even seen what a full check looks like since my raise this last June, Maybe I'll have better luck when I get another raise In January. It should pick up then since It will be deep into winter and maybe just maybe the economy will be picking up then... Just a wish.
