Unhappy East Bay shop suggestions?

So my wife's '00 RS seems to have an exhaust leak of some sort. I poked around under there today and one of the pipes on the drivers side seems a little loose. I can't really tell if it's the pipe itself or the heat shield. I'm just looking for a recommendation of shops in the Oakland/Berkeley area to take it to. I've been to S.O.S. on Shattuck and Ashby before, but I'm just wondering if anyone else's got any suggestions. I'd take it down to Hayward/Fremont, but the drive is too damn far. So fella's, any suggestions?

If it was me I'd stop by Albany Ford/Subaru in the morning on Saturday and see if you can have Steve Spillman fix it up, he is THE MAN there.

-that is if SOS isn't able to help...

Thanks Pete. I'll probably just run it over to SOS. They've been fair to me in the past and I've got no complaints. I just thought I'd ask around and see if anyone else has any suggestions. So Steve's your man eh?

Yeah, since I had a warranty up until about now (at 96,000 miles I'm about past my extended warranty period) I've been taking it in there and having Steve look after it.
But now that warranty is over I'll be looking probably to MPJ for more major stuff, and I'll probably be going back to SOS or Albany for routine things

Thumbs up

That's the exact type of recommendation I was looking for. Thanks Pete. When's the next drive anyways.

It's quite possible. What's the driving time on that adventure?
