if you ever wanted to take your vehicle and get it a little dirty, this place is a good place to do it.

.ive been to a few miata meets and they were the boringest thing EVER! because of the things mentioned here.
who is there to endanger in a car? its not like i plan on tandem drifting. People in a car are waaaaaaay safer than people on bicycles.
Ive seen the video from a meet a while back and i know you guys want to drive fast, and there were some close calls on there as well.
i just dont understand why these are during the day, not to mention the weekend.
Honestly, dont let this spoil your drive/thread either, i'll just have to post my own meet and see if anyones intersted.

we should set up a reverse of this drive...starting in santa cruz. Same time. Be cool as hell...meet in the middle.
I haven't done an organized drive in a while. Everyone I've been on someone wrecks.
I'm getting married like 2 weeks after this date so I might not be able to go but sounds fun.

There really needs to be another mountain way out of san jose other than 580 and 152
we would probly get in trouble by rangers and 4x4ers for going too fast, unless it was a wide open space. I'll let you know if i check it out.
