I have a lot of survival stuff.

But I'm not looking forward to a big quake since I am a Disaster Working for Alameda County and I will have to report to OES (Office of emergency services) which is in Dublin next to the jail. Then they will form their action plans and I'll be put to work although we are unpaid volunteers, if something is more important with our family or friends, then we aren't 100% obligated to do anything.

I look at that all the time for patterns... In my head .... I called the last one within a day. Not that I am doing that now..

But I just figured with the new year a little reminder would be good. A lot of us have new family members to also get ready for.
I don't have anyone yet. But I'll be adding to my supplies tomorrow with extra baby food and what not. Something I never thought of before in terms of earthquake or disaster. I have plenty for over the age of 2. But nothing for before..

I've got survival supplies at the house. Don't have to worry about civil unrest here in "the hood", ghetto people will go to the nicer areas to rape & pillage.

Happy hunting 'gunatics', haha.

i dont know how much surviving there will be to do except right when it hits. kinda hard to say, but bums seem to have it pretty good in sunny CA.

As long as you have gas and food you should be able to make it to Vegas.

2 wheels helps too...they are quite good at passing those white "road closed" signs, especially with knobby tires

with an earthquake, i dont think you need to BUG OUT... but rather BUG IN...

think of an extended camping trip.

while your house is still up and havent been red-tagged, supplies and even basic services like water, natural gas, electricity, etc maybe out.

that's why a BUG IN is something i prepare for...
