I didn't feel it, but it woke my cousin up... who decided he needed to rush into my room to see if i felt it also...

lol

the big one: although, a quake that will put california into the ocean blah blah blah seems like bull****, i don't doubt that a quake of 7 or above will happen sometime on the hayward fault.

This shows what a 6.7 quake would do to the bay area when the epicenter is on the southern half of the hayward fault.

Personally, most of oakland would probably go down. Tons of people will die in a quake like that one.

Get your emergency gear and supplies. If anything, some non-perishable food, water, and some medical supplies.

take care all,

Whoa dayUM you UC and oaktown people are straight Fk-ed if their's a quake!

X - doesn't that stand for apocalyptic collapse of the earth at that point or something, or was that 11?

Is it just me, or have there been a lot of small quakes recently? I swear I felt one on my way across Dunbarton.

There's lotsa small quakes all the time (1-3 mag). We're so used to them we don't notice any more. Unless the epicenters are smack in the middle of a populated area I don't think they even get reported.

If you hear a heard of cattle running towards you in the middle of the city, find some open space.
