I think Krinkov made near 340whp at 18psi... I believe it was on a GT30 turbo also...
GT30R which is a -12, the GT30 that is in my car is a -10

until then, no use arguing about what "this turbo" should be doing or "this setup" is better then "that setup"

sorry, I don't see anyone directly "comparing" setups, but if I overstepped my boundaries, I apologize...

as for the -12 and -10, can you please explain what that is? I've talked to my friend who works at Garrett as a Tech, he has never heard of these specs?

Here is a quick difference between the -10 cartridge and -12

GT30-10
Compressor side: • 48 trim • 2.08 inducer • 3.00 exducer • 44 lb/min compressor wheel Exhaust side: • 2.03 exducer • 2.22 major

GT30-12
Compressor wheel facts: • 56 "trim" compressor wheel • 2.24" inducer • 3.00" exducer • 55 lb/min compressor wheel Turbine wheel facts: • 2.16" exducer • 2.36" major

here is a screenshot from the garrett pdf with the turbo specs, you can see where the -12 is listed as the center cartridge used for that setup

your setup also uses a front mount IC and External Wastegate correct ?

Wow this thread seems to have lost it's track somewhat.

It seems like the above references are apples to oranges to be honest although not to sure about the reference to FMIC and External WG regarding the numbers based on the fact similar numbers are acheived on the TMIC and Internal (more torque/slightly less hp)

Alan sorry for all the hijacking of your thread great numbers mate!

thanks for the charts.. I thought that GT30 all had the same cartridge, after more searching with my buddy at garrett, the -10 and -12 were just the difference in ball bearing unit. The -10 being a 10mm I.D. unit is being replaced by the -12 (12mm I.D. unit) for cost reasons according to him. Any combination of compressor and exhaust housing can be used... but no difference in compressor/turbine housing...
